My name is Anna - 25 year old entrepreneur, designer, volleyball coach, and wife. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 3 years and we've recently relocated to Pennsylvania. We love each other, the Lord, our work-in-progress home, and our boxer Wheatley!

I started this blog in order to share our journey through renovating our home. I love to look at something old and see what it can become. 

I also started an Etsy business called Desiring Joy. I named my shop Desiring Joy because I believe that everyone desires to find joy - not just happiness, but real, deep-down, pure, joy. The root of my joy can only be explained by my personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and the knowledge that I am wonderfully and undeservedly saved by grace. I feel blessed that I am able to share the product of my God-given gifts with the whole Etsy and blogging community by sewing and selling things I love.
